Data security
How we look after your records
To keep your books we need to see every transaction your business makes. This page explains how that information is handled.
Our approach
How we handle your data
These terms apply to every client.
Confidentiality in writingYour records are used only to keep your books. Confidentiality is a term of our engagement letter.
Secure file sharingDocuments go through an access-controlled folder set up for you, not loose email attachments.
Limited accessOnly the people working on your books can open them. Access ends when the engagement ends.
No banking passwordsWe work from statements and exports. We never ask for your online banking login.
Your system, your dataYour accounting software stays in your name. When we stop working together, we return or delete the files we hold.
Shared only when you say soYour auditor, tax agent or bank gets information from us only on your instruction.
